About the project
A complete rebuild of the Doctoral Program in Management (DIM) website at Universitas Pasundan, transforming it from a website-builder-based site into a React application with bilingual support in Indonesian and English.
The original website was built using Hostinger Website Builder through a drag-and-drop workflow, which made the initial development relatively straightforward. However, limitations began to surface when the client—the same contact who later commissioned the FEB Unpas Economic Website—requested several simple feature additions and minor revisions that could not be implemented through the builder.
Recognizing those limitations, I rebuilt the website from scratch using React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion, including a complete bilingual system. Because the website needed to go live again quickly, the rebuild was completed within a limited timeframe of approximately two weeks.
This project became a turning point from relying primarily on website builders to actually building websites with code. The knowledge gained during the rebuild was immediately applied to the development of the FEB Unpas Economic Website that followed.
